How do you endear the players at your table to a Phandalin NPC? Take them along on the adventure!

Below is a screen shot of The Quartermaster: Elmar Barthen. He carries a selection of items one might find at his general store, many of them useful on an adventure. You can download a copy to print and use as a handout for your travel adventure here.

In addition to lugging around the party’s adventuring gear on the back of his mule, Kicker, Barthen can also act as aid unlooked for – should the characters find themselves in a bind.
